The AI Table is not just a piece of furniture; it's a statement on the redefinition of ornamentation in furniture design. The designers used AI algorithms to achieve an ultra-pragmatic process of material reduction. Each ounce of bronze in the table's three legs is placed solely for increasing the overall structural performance. The result is a design that is as structurally sound as a solid construction, but with significantly reduced material input.

The table's unique fabrication process combines the traditional method of bronze casting with state-of-the-art 3D printing moulds. The chosen sand-3DPrinting system is a powder-based process that does not require supports in the build process. This feature eliminates the need for printed support structures and allows almost 100% of the unbound powder to be reused.

The AI Table's design was inspired by observations made during a walk in the forest. The delicate, filigree structures of the table legs may appear fragile, but they are the result of profound knowledge of static load calculations and the AI functionality of Autodesk Fusion 360 software. The designers' creative minds, combined with AI and 3D printing technology, have produced a design that is both aesthetically pleasing and structurally sound.

The table was produced using a positive model made of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), which was 3D printed and then transformed into cast parts by the renowned artistic foundry Strassacker, based in Germany. The end product is a table that not only stands out for its unique design but also for its sophisticated effects of nuanced reflections under changing light conditions.
